Your Mac.
Anywhere.

Open apps, move files, run code and hand tasks to an AI operator. Kairo Orbit turns your iPhone or Android phone into a direct line to your Mac.

Launching on macOS, iOS and Android

A different approach

Not a tiny desktop. A real mobile interface.

Screen mirroring squeezes a 14-inch display onto a 6-inch phone. Orbit gives your Mac's apps, files and tools an interface designed for touch, with full desktop control a tap away.

Find the signed NDA from last week and send it to my phone

Here's what I'll do:

  1. 1Search Documents and Downloads for “NDA” from the last 7 days
  2. 2Open Acme_NDA_signed.pdf to confirm the signature page
  3. 3Transfer the file to this phone
Needs access: Read ~/Documents and ~/Downloads

Always within reach

Your Mac doesn't have to be in front of you.

Orbit is built around how Macs really behave: locked, asleep or switching networks. Your work keeps moving either way.

Awake · display off

Task queue

  • Export brand-film.mov64%
  • npm run build38s
  • Sync ~/Client Work1.2 GB left

Remote wake depends on your Mac model, macOS version and network. When wake isn't possible, tasks wait safely in the queue.

Security & control

Remote access, on your terms.

Reaching your Mac from anywhere only works if you trust it completely. These are the principles Orbit is built on.

End-to-end encrypted

Every session is encrypted between your phone and your Mac. What you see and send stays between your devices.

Paired devices only

Your Mac accepts connections only from phones you have paired yourself, and you can revoke any of them in one tap.

You approve every action

The AI operator shows its plan before it starts and acts only after you approve, within the access you have granted.

Scoped permissions

Choose exactly which folders, apps and commands Orbit can reach. Everything else stays off-limits.

A complete activity log

Sessions, file transfers and operator actions are recorded on your device, so you can always see what happened.

Clear about the hardware

Remote wake works where your Mac model and macOS allow it. Where it can't, Orbit queues the work instead of failing.

Our vision

Computing access, separated from physical presence.

Your most capable computer shouldn't only be useful when you're sitting in front of it. Orbit lets you keep working from your phone and leave the laptop at home.

or·bit

/ˈɔːr.bɪt/noun

The path an object takes around a centre, travelling freely while held in place by its pull.

Kairo Orbit is named after that idea. Your Mac is the centre. Your phone moves around it, wherever you are, and never loses the connection.

The ring around the K is the orbit.

The centre

Your Mac

It stays at home or in the office and does the heavy lifting: the processing, the storage and the apps you already use.

The path

Your phone

It goes wherever you go, on iPhone or Android, and everything your Mac can do goes with it.

The pull

A connection that holds

Encrypted, limited to your paired devices, and quick to reconnect on its own whenever your Mac comes back.

FAQ

Good questions.

Didn't find what you need? Write to us.

What is Kairo Orbit?

Kairo Orbit is a mobile-first way to use your Mac from an iPhone or Android phone, wherever you are. Instead of shrinking your desktop onto a small screen, it gives you an interface built for touch: open apps, manage files, run code and commands, and take over the full desktop when you need it. Orbit is built by Kairo Technologies.

Why is it called Orbit?

In an orbit, one body moves freely while staying held by the centre it circles. Your Mac is that centre: it stays at home or in the office with its power, files and apps. Your phone moves around it wherever you go, and the connection holds the whole time. The ring around the K in the logo is that orbit.

How is it different from screen mirroring or remote desktop apps?

Remote desktop tools squeeze a large display onto your phone, so you end up pinching, zooming and mis-tapping. Orbit is designed for the phone first. Files, terminals, code and tasks each get a native mobile interface, and full desktop control is there for the moments you need it.

Does my Mac need to stay awake?

While your Mac is awake, Orbit keeps working in the background, even with the display off or the screen locked. If it goes to sleep, Orbit queues your tasks, reconnects automatically when the Mac is back, and can wake it remotely where your hardware and macOS allow.

What can the AI operator do?

Describe what you need in plain language: find a file, run a build, export a document. The operator turns it into a step-by-step plan, shows you exactly what it will touch, and runs only after you approve.

Which devices will be supported?

Orbit connects to a Mac running macOS. The mobile app is being built for both iPhone and Android.

When will Kairo Orbit be available?

Orbit is in active development and coming soon. Launch dates, plans and pricing will be announced on this site first.
